Two killed after car crash in Lake Street, Minneapolis

Two people died following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Interstate 35W at Lake Street in Minneapolis.

The car crash caused a nearby Metro Transit bus station to engulf.

It is not known if both were inside the vehicle when the crash occurred.

Buses were going to start stopping at the station next week, due to the crash and a media event scheduled to be held on Monday was postponed.

The postponement has been made out of respect for the two deaths in the crash.

Minnesota State Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
