Two people were killed after a crash near 76th and Silver Spring in Milwaukee on Sunday evening.
The incident involved drag racing according to police.
Around 7 p.m., two vehicles were drag racing; their drivers ignored red traffic signals before one of the racing vehicles hit the victims’ vehicle, killing both occupants – a 66-year-old Milwaukee man and a 21-year-old Milwaukee woman.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the striking vehicle was taken into custody and admitted to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police are looking for the driver who was in another vehicle.
