Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash in La Mirada, California on early Saturday.
The crash took place around 7:50 a.m. when a gray Chrysler was driving east on Rosecrans Avenue at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and struck a fire hydrant and utility pole located at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the victims were not released.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
