Two people were killed following a three-vehicle crash in east Travis County, Texas.

The crash took place just before 1 p.m. August 14 on N SH 130 when a black Chevrolet Suburban was traveling southbound on SH 130 and it crossed over the median and hit a Ford pick-up traveling north on the driver’s side.

The two people in those vehicles were pinned and were pronounced dead at the scene.

There was another crash involving a gray Chevrolet Malibu, but the person was not injured and refused EMS transport.

SH 130 just north of FM 969 was closed due to the crash, while northbound lanes reopened just after 5:30 p.m.

Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
