Two killed, five injured after car crash in Leek, Staffordshire

Two people were killed and five were injured after a two-car crash on the A53 Buxton Road in Leek, Staffordshire at about 16:30 BST on Monday.

Two drivers, both men, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman and boy from one of the cars were hospitalized over serious injuries.

After receiving advanced trauma care, a man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Two other victims, a man and a woman were also hospitalized but their injuries were less.
