Two people were killed after a car crash involving four vehicles in Fulton County, Georgia on Monday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
The crash took place at the intersection of Flat Shoals Road and Buffington Road when one vehicle was traveling west on Flat Shoals and ran a red light, hitting another vehicle.
The second vehicle overturned and hit a third vehicle, which then struck a fourth vehicle.
The driver who ran the light, identified as Brandon Rashad Houston, 32, was arrested.
An open container of beer and marijuana was discovered in his vehicle, and he had a strong odor of alcohol.
Houston is currently charged with two counts of first-degree homicide by car, DUI, speeding, reckless, possession of marijuana, open container, and failure to abide by the traffic control device.
Identities of the victims were not released.
Georgia Department of Public Safety investigated the crash.
