Three killed after wrong-way crash in Pineville

Three people were killed after a wrong-way car crash in Pineville of McDonald County in Missouri on Tuesday.

The crash took place when their 2014 Nissan Versa hit a 2011 Toyota Prius.

The three passengers of the 2014 Nissan Versa were pronounced dead at 9:35 p.m.

The victims were identified as Kyler M. Johnson, 29, Joseph P. Lynch, 58, of Powell, and a 15-year-old boy from Washburn.

Johnson was the driver. Johnson and Lynch were not wearing seatbelts. The 15-year-old boy was using the seatbelt.

Toyota Prius was driven by a 17-year-old girl who was admitted to the hospital for serious injuries.

Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
