Two killed, several injured after car crash in Guilderland

Two people were killed and several others were injured after a six-vehicle crash on the Thruway in Guilderland, New York on Wednesday morning.

The crash prompted police to close all eastbound lanes between exits 24 and 25.

Two were pronounced dead at the scene.

Some were injured but the exact figure is not known yet.

All eastbound lanes were closed for hours after the crash.

It was not yet clear how the crash happened.

Though some say that fire damaged the cab of the tractor-trailer which contributed in the crash.

The crash is currently under investigation.
