Two killed, three injured after car crash in Nottinghamshire

Two teenagers died and three others were injured after a two-car crash in Nottinghamshire.

The crash took place in Gonalston at 10:45 pm on Thursday.

A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were hospitalized at the Queen’s medical centre with life-threatening injuries, while a fifth person who was also injured didn’t have life-threatening injuries.

The A612 Southwell Road was shut for some hours between its junctions with Gonalston Road, Gonalston, and Beck Street, Thurgarton, after the crash.
