Audi has updated the A7/S7 Sportback range and for performance car fans the biggest news is of course the updated RS7 Sportback, which comes with similar changes as the less powerful models.

The changes are typical to Audi and it really takes a trained eye to spot the differences to the outgoing version.

The single frame honeycomb front grille is now with sharper corners, with matte aluminum, glossy black and carbon packages optional for a more personal look.

The front bumper gets also revised air inlets and the biggest exterior tech update is the adoption of optional matrix LED headlights, first seen in the A8/S8 facelift.

There are also new exterior colors like Sepang Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White and Floret Silver.

Interior reveals a revised instrument cluster, revised air outlet controls, updated shift paddles, quattro emblem and an updated MMI infotainment system with MMI touch.

Under the hood is the same twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter TFSI engine generating 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque

0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) comes in 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 190 mph (305 km/h) with the optional dynamics package.

Average fuel economy is 24.8 mpg (9.5 liters / 100 km) with CO2 emissions of 221 g/km.

The updated RS7 will go on sale in third quarter of the year, with German pricing starting at 113,300 EUR ($154,600).
