The US citizens are about to be treated with a special edition vehicle from the Italian marquee, Fiat. The company has officially announced that it is going to make the 1957 Edition of the Fiat 500 Cabrio available in the states. In case you have yet to notice, this car is an open top variant of the company’s 500 1957 Edition vehicle model, a model which the company introduced last year.
The special edition vehicle will reportedly come with an electrically retractable soft top, to begin with. The car will also be gifted with the company’s new badges, an interior with a unique 2-tone theme, a historical Fiat logo and a set of retro wheels with a diameter of 16 inches. It is said that customers will even be able to choose from a number of classic paint jobs for the body of the vehicle.
As an exclusive vehicle model, Fiat is going to equip the car in question with a 1.4L MultiAir engine. This engine is powerful enough to deliver 102 PS of power output and 132 Nm of torque. Customers can also benefit from a standard 5-speed manual transmission. Yet, for an alternative, they can go for the optionally available 6-speed automatic transmission.
If this 1957 Edition of the Fiat 500 Cabrio sounds quite appealing to you, then you may as well prepare US$24,700. Yes, the car is US$1,900 more expensive when compared to the Fiat 500 Cabrio Lounge. The good news is that you can already start ordering the car now and it will be shipped to you starting from spring this year.
