Video: Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni driven by the man himself

Lamborhini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni is the only RWD production Lambo at the moment. Named after a long time Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni it is limited to just 250 units.

Power comes from a 5.2-liter V10 that produces 550 horsepower, 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) comes in 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 320 km/h (199 mph).

Below we have a great video from the Bologna Motor Show where Mr. Balboni demonstrated how to drift in this RWD Gallardo, that happens to bear his name. Another car on the track is an AWD LP560-4, so you can see how much more fun the RWD car is, though probably not as fast as the AWD around the corners.

The sparks you see at the end are not from the exhaust, the tires are worn out after the long drifting and it looks like the exposed steel belts are causing the “fireworks”.
