Displaying two different types of a car in Geneva is something very unusual, Besides the Golf VII estate, VW is also showcasing the Golf VI-based R Cabriolet.

With sale set to begin this spring, the Golf VI R Cabriolet is attached with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine connected to a 6-speed DSG. Giving 265 HP (195 kW), the hot cabrio requires 6.4 seconds to cover 62 mph (100 km/h) and can reach a speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

It can be equipped with 18- or 19-inch wheels and gains from a 25mm lowered suspension. Other features include chrome-tipped exhausts, LED daytime running lights, side sill extensions and bi-xenon headlights. The inside part has four separate sport seats and a fully electric insulated top which can be raised in 11 seconds and degraded in 9.5s at speeds of up to 18 mph (29 km/h).
