Volkswagen to Increase Prices In India By Rs 20,000 From 2018

Volkswagen, today announced an upward modification of the rates for its car lines effective January 2018. The increase of price would be approximately INR 20,000 will be depending on the model across the Volkswagen product range in India.

Talking about the announcement, Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars stated, “The price boost is essential on account of a number of external economic factors along with variations in the global commodity cost and regional input cost and is in line with industry. The impact will be throughout the product range in India.”

With the latest launches of Tiguan and Passat, Volkswagen now has a varied portfolio of products in every segment for the Indian customer.
