Volvo announces U.S. pricing for 2014MY lineup

Volvo has revealed pricing details for its 2014MY U.S. lineup which includes S60, S80, XC60, XC70 and XC90 models.

The 2014 S60 T5 can be easily stated as the most affordable Volvo that can be purchased in United States today and comes with a starting price of 32,400 USD. Its higher version, the S80, can be had for 39,900 USD in the base 3.2 FWD variant. There’s also the XC trio with the XC60 starting at 34,850 USD, the XC70 from 34,500 USD and the XC90 with a base price of 39,700 USD.

Some of the models have received a new instrument cluster with an adaptive digital TFT display offering three themes with different functionality and configurations: elegance, eco and performance, while R-Design models with the Elegance theme feature blue instrument dials. The company is selling these models in three trim levels – Premier, Premier Plus and Platinum, along with various safety features like Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection which is part of the 1,500 USD Technology Package.

Also, a radar-based Blind Spot Information System is now available for 2014MY, along with Cross Traffic Alert and other similar systems aimed to boost safety of those inside the car and pedestrians. All 2014MY Volvos are sold with a warranty of four-year / 50,000 miles.
