It was just a number of months ago that a version of the upcoming S90 flagship leaked the sedan’s layout. Currently, a die-cast toy has once more disclosed the form of a future Volvo. At this moment, it is the V90 wagon.
The car looks quite like the S90 in the front, similarly upright grille as well as Volvo’s trademark “Thor’s Hammer” LED tones in the headlights. Where it varies, and where the V90 may merely have the edge in looks, is the rear end. The V90 is a wagon-lover’s vision from the C-pillar back. The rear liftgate inclines at a sharp angle, providing the V90 a streamlined capturing brake profile. The taillights resemble those of in 2014’s two-door Principle Estate, forming an “L” shape as opposed to simply being vertical as on the XC90.
Apart from its easy-on-the-eyes style, the V90 is also expected to offer the exact same powertrain providings as the XC90, which include a twin-charged 2.0-liter I-4 making 316 hp and that exact same engine paired with an electric motor for 395 hp. Expect the interior to also draw greatly from the XC90’s cabin design.
