The 2015 New York Auto Show has officially invited the public to come and as such, the luxury US automaker, Cadillac, thinks it is time to eventually unleash its latest CT6 model. This is a flagship sedan model from the US company and the company is referring to the vehicle as a completely new approach when it comes to premium luxury.
To show its class, a luxurious one, the car sports Indirect Fire LED headlamps that flank a prominently designed front grille. Then, the car also comes with a character line that sweeps upwards, a trunk that can be operated without touching and a roofline that slopes gently. Yet, if that is not enough, the US automaker claims that the car is just as spacious as the BMW 7-Series.
Stepping into the cabin, customers will be able to find a host of carbon fiber trims, exotic wooden trims and also luxurious leather trims. To give customers an even more comfortable experience inside the cabin, Cadillac has also equipped the vehicle with its CUE infotainment system that features a 10.2-inch high resolution display panel.
Unfortunately, somehow, Cadillac does not want to reveal detailed specifications of the vehicle just yet. Nonetheless, the company has confirmed that it will feature the OnStar 4G LTE that features a Wi-Fi hotspot, a touchpad controller mounted on the center console and also a wireless charger for smartphones.
As for customers in the rear compartment, they will benefit from Articulating Rear Seat package. With this package, customers will get individual rear seats that have 3.3 inches of travel. In addition to that, the rear passengers of the 2016 CT6 from Cadillac will also be eligible for massage and cooling functions, media controls, USB and HDMI on center armrest, and even rear entertainment system with a pair of 10-inch display panels. The latter, however, comes as an optional package.
Now, if you are a huge fan of audio, you will be grateful for the integrated Bose Panaray audio system with 34 speakers. Additionally, the 2016 Cadillac CT6 also allows passengers inside to adjust the in-car airflow and temperature independently by means of the Quadzone climate system that is accompanied by a secondary HVAC system.
As for engine options, customers will be able to choose from a host of engines, including a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, a 3.6L V6 naturally aspirated engine and a 3.0L V6 engine with twin turbochargers. Power output ranges from 265 to 400 bhp.
