One of the WCF reader has recently taken a couple of photos of the 2014 BMW M6 Coupe fitted with the optional Competition Package.
There were rumors some time back of BMW offering a Competition Package for the 2014 M5 and M6 lineup. Now these pictures received with an M6 Coupe fitted with this optional kit bringing different black alloy wheels and a carbon fiber spoiler lip.
The pictures did not provide much insight about the interiors but the sender has mentioned that there were no changes compared to the regular M6 model. However, BMW may provide some additional exterior and interior tweaks for those who are willing to spend more on the package.
The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine will offer an extra 15 hp (11 kW) which makes the total output to 567 hp (423 kW). The 2014 M5 and M6s are also likely to come with black exhaust tips, sportier suspension and a more direct steering ratio.
The car would be able to reduce the time to reach to 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) by 0.1 second than before. The top speed may be electronically-limited to 190 mph (305 kmph).
