The Japanese automaker, Honda, has officially taken the veil off its latest generation N-BOX SLASH, a.k.a. the Kei car. This is the fifth generation of the company’s N vehicle lineups and it will still borrow some of the styling cues from its predecessors, especially for its boxy body shape. As a matter of fact, such a boxy shape has become some sorts of a trend when it comes to the Kei car segment in the country of the rising sun. Nonetheless, the Japanese automaker in question also promises that it will be rolling out Kei cars that will look more like a coupe than a boxy Kei car.

So, what does this entirely new Kei car from Honda has in store for its potent customers? Well, to begin with, the car comes with plenty of personalization options, regardless of whether customers want to personalize the exterior or interior of the vehicle. Of course, making the car look prettier is not the only concern here. As such, the company has also equipped its latest Kei car with a very capable audio system for the high-end market segment. The company is calling its audio system the Sound Mapping System. The company claims that this newly developed technology will bring high quality sounds and fully blown deep bass sounds.

The Japanese automaker seems to be aiming its N-BOX SLASH Kei car a funky and relaxing vehicle for its customers. This is why the company is offering a playful theme for customers to apply into the cabin of their Kei car. Besides the playful theme, the company will also be including such a feature as the Mode Switching Steering. This is meant to allow the driver to choose which of the power steering assists available on the car to use. Electric parking brake is also included here.

This fifth generation of the Honda Kei will count on a 660cc, either turbocharged or naturally aspirated, petrol engine. Customers will be able to choose between the front-wheel-drive (FWD) and the all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrains. The car will be sold starting from 1,380,000 Japanese Yens and its fuel consumption is estimated at a level of 25.8 km/L.
