Wörthersee: Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio Austria concept unveiled

The ongoing Wörthersee 2013 saw Volkswagen officially unveiling the Golf GTI Cabrio Austria concept.

Created by thirteen apprentices, this one-off model has an Oryx White exterior paint with Flash Red stripes and various red accents. The car comes with features such as a front spoiler, a revised rear apron and 19-inch alloy wheels.

In term of features in cabin, it comes with tri-color Recaro sport seats, red trim, a 2,250 watt audio system, a flat-bottom steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and distinctive air vents with red accents.

Performance details were not revealed but the company has said that the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine generates 333 HP (245 kW). The company has also said that the car would feature a stainless steel sports exhaust system, a strut tower brace and Brembo brakes.
