New York Motorshow: Jaguar XKR-S GT

Jaguar decided to go for 2013 New York Motor Show to launch Jaguar XKR-S GT, the most focused sports car till date.

The features of the car include new carbon-fiber front splitter, dive planes, extended wheel arch spats, an elevated rear wing, rear diffuser, new front and rear suspension kit, aluminum valance, to name a few.

Jaguar has developed a carbon ceramic brake system for the Jaguar XKR-S GT with six and four-piston mono-block calipers matched to 398mm and 380mm discs. The 20-inch forged alloy wheels are wider and lighter than ever before.

The car comes with 5.0 liter turbocharged V8 engine with output capacity of 550 hp. The car can accelerate to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.

The ambitious Jaguar XKR-S GT will be limited edition version with just 30 units being produced by the company for North American markets.
