Two people died and three were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in the west end which took place around 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday at Spring and Parkside drives in Toronto.
A BMW was traveling at a high speed southbound on Parkside Drive before it hit a vehicle that was waiting in traffic.
This caused a chain reaction that resulted in multiple vehicles crashing into each other.
A 71-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman were pronounced dead.
A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries while two others had minor injuries.
Parkside Drive has been closed from Lake Shore Boulevard West to High Park.
