2 killed after dump truck strikes car in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Two people were killed after their car was hit by a dump truck in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on Monday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash took place around 10:29 a.m. on the 2500 block of Main Street in West Caernarvon Township.

The crash took place when an eastbound sedan made a left turn in front of a westbound dump truck. The dump truck crashed with the sedan and both vehicles struck a utility pole, according to police.

The driver and passenger of the sedan were both declared dead at the scene.

Their names are yet to be revealed.

Police is investigating the incident.
