2 killed in head-on car crash in Northport, Alabama
Two people were killed in a car crash on Friday morning in Northport, Alabama.
Northport Assistant Police Chief Keith Carpenter confirmed there were two deaths in a head-on crash near the 6100 block of Hwy 69.
Police confirmed one of the victims as Jennifer Lorraine Worthington who was 42-year-old.
The crash took place around 2:59 a.m. and was cleared up around 10:30 a.m.
Northport Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
