If you think the Audi Q7 S-Line is too boring, here is one way you can spice things up. JE Design has come up with a new performance pack that will let you have a styled and fine tuned version of the Q7 S-Line. So let’s find out what the styling package comprises of.
To begin with, there’s a front spoiler costing about €690 along with a rear bumper extension, consisting of four tailpipe exhaust system, priced at over €1798. Then Fiat has also installed flared wheel arches priced at about €2699 with a roof spoiler costing over €1099 all of which contribute to the car attaining a wide body look.
The package also includes some styling or cosmetic adjustments. These modifications consist of headlight masks, which are priced at over €99 in conjunction with a lowering module, priced at over €1428. The lowering module reduces ride height by over 35mm. The other cosmetic improvements provided for in the package include the spectacular 22 inch alloy wheels, with prices starting at €5190, and wheel spacers that costs over €409. The package also provides for a steering angle limiter, costing a mere €49 which ensures the car wheels do not make physical contact with the chassis.
The SUV is powered with a 3.0-liter TDI engine. However, the engine too has been given the JE Design treatment that has been equipped with an optimized ECU that has resulted in the car now making 281 HP of peak power and 550 Nm or 406 lb-ft of torque in its tuned state. This is a significant improvement over the 230 hp of max power and 500 Nm or 369 lb-ft of torque that the engine in its standard form is able to deliver. The optimized ECU is priced a mere €1499. The SUV, post this upgrade can break the 100 kmph mark from standing still in 8.4 seconds, which is quite impressive for a vehicle of this size and weight. Thus the total improvement resulting from the package is of about 0.7 seconds while the top speed that the vehicle can now attain is 219 kmph which is an improvement of over 9 km/h.
