The only car for GM with some style as well as performance added to it has been its Chevrolet Corvette. For those having an emotional touch this was the only car that left that feeling in the people. From its Airbox model to its Stingray model, all have dominated the American Sports car market.
To push up the performance factor of the Corvette line up the Z06 model had initially been introduced. Off late Chevrolet have decided that the ZR1 is the engine that is best suited to push the performance of the car further up. This engine fit therefore has become the index for American supercar models to compete with.
The Z06 however has not been dropped completely. There are different variants of the Z06 as yet each of them suitable for different packages.
