2011 Lotus Evora Police Car for highway patrol

by Alex

The number of times that one would have experienced the wail of a police car giving chase on the highway only to realize it is to our own self and own speed that, knowingly or unknowingly has breached the speed limit and has attracted police action would be many if not numerous. The fear factor starts to act up just after that realization sets in. And once the fear factor has been digested the basic instincts of plotting an escape takes center stage and the first idea is to pull off an escape by out running the cop car. Realizing this common tactic the police in UK, West Midlands area to be specific are now able to boast of something that would surely play spoilsport for those who take pride in their ability to fool the law keepers. They are being gifted with a Lotus Evora from its maker Lotus at the Auto Sport International Motor Show.

This one packs 280 hp of power under its hood and can really give inescapable chase to any car of every make. The car is going to undergo field trials for a period of two weeks at the highway of 450 miles at the West Midlands. Other routes also would be covered in the trial runs that include M5, M6, and M2 motorways.

It is therefore good advice to remember these routes and travel within the stipulated speeds lest a Lotus Evora jumps upon the unsuspecting speedster. There would be no chance or space for escape.
