A limited edition Carrera Cup model will soon be launched by Porsche Asia. The news has come as a quiet announcement from Porsche. It has been clarified that only 30 units of the special edition sports vehicle will be made, offering a high degree of exclusivity to the growing Chinese market.
Just like the other special edition of super sports cars from Porsches, the limited edition Carrera Cup Asia is not likely to shun away from it its performance heritage. The super sport vehicle shall have close relationship with the racetrack like all other special editions. The same point is further emphasized by the available color schemes that include Carrera White, Guard Red, and black. All the variation of the car will come painted with in-your-face Porsche Racing decals. The sports car shall have the lightweight 19 inch wheels. Experts believe that because of these special features, in no probability will you ever mistake this special edition car in traffic or even on the racetrack.
The sports car shall be powered in the same ways as the “ normal” Carrera S. It will have a power plant producing over 385HP of power and 420Nm of torque. The car will be capable of sprinting from 0 km/h to over 100km/h in a mere 4.3 seconds window. This is an improvement over earlier performance of 4.6 second for the sprint. This seems to have been made possible due to more clever disgorging of weight. It is important to note that this shedding of weight does not compromise on comfort in any way. The interiors of the car come with special Alcantara Recaro seats that are custom-made for the car. The super sport vehicle also comes with the option of carbon fiber backrests, which provides the racy feel. However, you may not find them a necessity in the sport car.
