2012 Bentley Continental GT

by Site Default

This year’s Continental GT model from Bentley has just arrived. Weighing over 5000 pounds, the 2012 Bentley Continental GT is still able to reach 60 in less than 4.4 seconds, and to hit a top speed of 198 mph. This is possible thanks to the 6L twin turbo W12 engine that delivers 567 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. This vehicle uses a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The car looks astonishing, combining a sport coupe look with the one of a four door sedan. It’s broad “shoulders” suggest a rather sophisticated approach to this car, while the aerodynamic shape give the impression of speed. Both are integral parts of these vehicles.

On the inside, everything is new. There isn’t one single panel which is the same as in the previous model. The leather seats look very comfortable, and the fancy, yet classic-looking dashboard looks great thanks to the 8-inch touch screen.

The performance is outstanding for a car with such a weight. It handles beautifully in banks entered at high speed, and as soon as you press the throttle, you feel the throbbing power that lies underneath the hood. Together with the luxury available on the inside, and the excellent design visible on the outside, it makes the car one worth buying. The price starts at $200,000.
