Maserati GranCabrio Sport 2012 Review

by Laly

Looking for a sexy car that “turns heads” on the street? Maserati can help you with Maserati’s luxury car , GranCabrio Sport, a convertible that makes you feel like a star from the minut you get in it. The interior design is made by Poltrona Frau, an Italian interior and furniture and leather upholstery company that has had a partnership with Maserati since 2001. They customized GranCabrio’s interior with a special leather giving the driver a luxurious comfort worthy of Maserati’s name.

Luxurious interior and…exterior. The continuous chrome trim that encircles the cabin and integrates with the third rar stop light, the triangular light cluster towards the back of the car which is formed by 96 LEDs with a wide diffuser, the generous 20” wheel rims make this car more a work of art than a vehicle.

Moving to the performance, this GranCabrio has a faster and more fuel efficient MC Auto Shift transmission making the 4.7 liter V8 engine produce 450 horsepower, going from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 177 mph.
The GranCabrio features a six-speed, ZF automatic transmission with a hydraulic torque converter, with four modes andfitted with self-adapting control adjusting the type of gar change to the driving style and road conditions but keeping the sporty V8 engine characteristics.
The MSP, ABS, EBD, Electric Park Brake( which replaces the traditional mechanical handbrake with an electronic control), the Brake Assist System ( which recognizes panic braking by measuring the speed at which the brake pedal is depressed, clamping the brake pad to the disc before the driver begins to brake) make this convertible safe.
