Jaguar C-X75 – Next step for electric cars

by Site Default

The all-new Jaguar C-X75 marks Jaguar’s a 75 year anniversary with a spectacular concept: a high-speed electric super-car. It has been presented at the Paris Motor Show. The four electric engines that power the vehicle each weigh 50kg and deliver 195 horsepower, for a total of 780 horsepower. The torque is enormous at 1.600Nm.

This amazing vehicle has a top speed of 300km/h and goes from 0 to 60 in under six seconds, which is magnificent for an electric car. The C-X75 goes 110km without recharging, but by using the gas micro turbines, it can go for up to 900 km. These turbines were built together with Bladon Jets, and weigh merely 35 kg each.

The chassis of the revolutionary Jaguar is built from Aluminum, and the diffuser is built from carbon-fiber.

The exterior design looks great, and reminds me of the C-Type or D-type from the 1950. The futuristic look comes thanks to the cars aerodynamic shape. The interior also has a futuristic approach. The ergonomic chairs cannot be moved, but everything else is movable (the steering wheel, the foot levers etc.).
