Dodge has decided that would be a great idea to revive two iconic names from the past and create two limited edition performance cars, which we must agree, isn’t a bad idea at all.
The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee and 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket models will make their public debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
The reminder of the original Dodge “Yellow Jacket” show car, which evolved from the 1970 Challenger and was shown at various auto show exhibits beginning in late 1969, is obviously the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket.
The new “Yellow Jacket” features a Stinger Yellow body color and black grille surround to match the standard black body-side stripes that highlight the Yellow Jacket logo on the rear fender.
More than that, new 20 x 9-inch, five-spoke cast-aluminium wheels with black painted pockets are fitted.
And as far as the interiour goes, the standard leather seats feature an exclusive Stinger Yellow accent band with embroidered Yellow Jacket logo and silver accent stitching.
Apart from just sounding good, we are really curious about more details and pricing of this car, which we will make sure you are aware of as soon as we find something out ourselves.
