None perhaps can tell for sure how many iteration there has been of the legendary Ford Mustang though what’s sure is that nearly all of them has made a mark in the history of the automotive industry in some way or the other. And now, here comes the Shelby GT500 Super Snake whose claim to fame – the most powerful version of Ford Mustang will certainly be another one that will have a rich following of its own.

The GT500 has been known for its blend of power with muscular looks and been crowned as the crown of glory for the Ford Mustangs line of cars. The muscular looks and the power that this car is bequeathed with leaves all other cars in the US way behind.

The latest manifestation of the Shelby GT500 Super Snake model will make its presence felt at the New York International Auto Show event.

The selection of this particular event for the launch of this car has a symbolic overture which stands for the relation that this event has with this annual automotive event. President of Shelby American Inc, John Luft said, “The very first Shelby car was introduced there in 1962, as well as the 1968 and 2008 Shelby GT500KR and the 2006 Shelby Hertz GT-H. This year, we’re returning with one of the most powerful and important Shelby’s ever built.”

This signifies the special place that the event holds for the Shelby’s. The event therefore has also gone up in the ranking of importance given the unveiling program of the American icon.
