Bentley has revealed its new concept the 2013 Continental GT Speed Convertible which has become the fastest in the four seat category.

The twin-turbo W12 6.0-liter engine has been borrowed from the Continental GT Speed with its 616 hp (460 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. It can clock enough miles and can gather speed from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds at a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h), while the fuel consumption is rated at 15.8 mpg (19 mpg UK or 14.8 liters / 100 km).

Apart from the engine changes, the new convertible has a 10mm lowered suspension compared to the GT and comes with stiffer bushes, updated air springs and dampers, along with revised anti-roll bars. Bentley has also changed the steering to make it more responsive.

Other features include exclusive 21-inch alloys, dark chrome air intakes and radiator grille, plus bigger tailpipes with rifled interiors. On the interior side it gets quilted diamond leather, dark aluminum inserts on the dashboard and an optional carbon fiber trim.

With sale to go on stream next summer, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible will be up for grabs for approximately 164,000 GBP (202,218 EUR), making it about 15,000 GBP (18,450 EUR) more expensive than the regular GT Convertible.

Stay tuned and have a glimpse at the pictures.
