2013 Euro-spec Ford EcoSport introduced at Barcelona

Ford has made public Euro-spec 2013 EcoSport at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The new EcoSport will be placed below the larger Kuga. It uses a unique platform and will come with 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine producing 125 HP (92 kW) and a 1.5-litre gasoline mill along with 110 HP (81 kW). A 1.5-litre diesel offering 90 HP (66 kW).

The EcoSport comes with technology, such as Ford SYNC voice-activated in-car connectivity system, SYNC Emergency Assistance and Ford SYNC AppLink.

The car will be put on display next week at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
