The 2013 Ford Fusion features a pretty neat feature on the interior design – the interior ambient lighting. One can choose from seven different colors (Soft Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Ice Blue, Orange or Blue), to set the mood. This system uses LED’s to illuminate the front and rear footwells, front center console bin, and the two front cup holders. One can also use LED lamps to enhance interior illumination. These LED’s are also used in the door locks, because they provide such a distinctive glow.
The seating comes in three versions, for each of the Fusion models. The SE and SE Hybrid get cloth, 10-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar and manual passenger seats. In the SE Luxury, and SE Luxury Hybrid, the seats are leather trimmed, heated, the driver’s seat is a 10-way power with memory, power lumbar and two way power passenger and power recline. The Titanium version is the same, only it also gets sport-stitching.
The interior looks fine overall. There seems to be enough space for the passengers and driver, and the seats look quite comfortable. The dashboard looks pretty luxurious, although the Fusion is a low/medium priced vehicle.
