The Merecdes Benz SL500 which is among the classiest and most sporty cars on road, just got into the hands of the aftermarket specialist, Lorinser. The german based specialist have designed the vehicle in such a way that it reduces the lift, powerful performance upgrades and the striking light-alloy wheels, makes it clear that they are dedicated towards each and every part of the car, and they really are!
At the front, we see that the shape of the convertible has been enhanced by a new front grille and with large air inlets, on the sides, the striking side skirts ensure design is consistent, and make the SL look lower and longer, they also have developed a rear decklid spoiler, available either painted to match the car or carbon look, as well as an attractive rear with built in diffuser, and the 4 end pipes of the Lorinser sports exhaust system, which gives the Mercedes a classy look. The car rides on the 20 Inch light-alloy RSK8 wheels, which are mated together with 255/30R20 front tires and 295/25R20 rear tires, the three part forged wheel with its seven spokes and stainless steel bolts looks outstanding. Inside the car, the specialist offer an instrument cluster with a Lorinser logo on the dial, and a scale which goes up to 320kmh, they also supply accessories in fine aluminum, wood, or carbon look, other than that they also offer from personalized floor mats to full leather interior, all hand-made with the highest possible level of attention to detail.
Under the hood, it houses the standard 4,7 liter engine producing 320KW/435 hp at 5.250 1/min, 700 Nm at 1.700 – 3.500 1/min. And the tuners now, revamped and installed a newly programmed ECU with increased bi –turbo boost, resulting in, 390KW/ 530hp at 5.600 1/min and maximum torque at 800 Nm from 1.700 to 3.800 revolutions. And with such power the car can reach the top speed of 280kmh, and suppose if one wants to to drive their SL 500 faster than the factory limited 250kmh without enhancements to performance, Lorinser offers the option of an increase in top speed limiter.
