2013 Subaru WRX and WRX STI special editions pricing announced for the US

Subaru has announced the pricing information for the 2013 WRX and WRX STI special editions sold in U.S.

After their debut last year at the SEMA show, Subaru had announced that the price tag for the WRX special edition will start from 28,795 USD, while the WRX STI would have starting price of 34,795 USD. These 2 cars launched with a Tangerine Orange Pearl paint, black exterior mirrors, jet black alloys, and black front fender badging.

As far as sales is concerned, the number of units for the WRX would be 200 units while for the WRX STI it will be only 100 units. Both cars come with front fog lamps, a interior trim which is dark and a black headliner, having orange stitching on there seats, doors, shift boot, as well as orange-trimmed floor mats.

Power will get boost from a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbocharged engine generating 265 hp (198 kW) and 330 Nm (244 lb-ft) in the WRX, and 305 hp (227 kW) and 393 Nm (290 lb-ft) in the WRX STI. The latter also contains Subaru’s Intelligent Drive and Multi-Mode Vehicle Dynamics Control systems.

So far we have heard only about the price and the engine details whereas the features and performance issues are still unknown. Very soon the same is likely to be revealed once sale starts to gather stream.
