2014 Audi A8 L TDI Priced in the US

Audi has made its intentions clear that it would offer an A8 L TDI in the United States and it has been followed up with full pricing and performance information.

With sale set to begin this spring, the model has a 3.0-liter TDI engine that produces 240 hp (179 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. It permits the sedan to speed up from 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds and return an EPA-estimated 24 mpg city / 36 mpg highway/ 28 mpg combined (US).

The model will carry a price tag of $82,500 which is slightly higher than the 2013 A8 L 3.0 TFSI that retails for $78,500. While the cost might pinch the customers, it’s still $10,500 less than its next rival – the Mercedes S350 BlueTEC.

The Audi A8 is a luxurious sedan and is better bet than its predecessor. It is the people’s car and customers will love it for its style and luxury.

There is no word on car features and other specifications so far, but once actual sale starts to flow, there would be barrage of information to follow.
