2013 Audi S3 Sportback displayed in Geneva

by SpeedLux

After the model was found online earlier, Audi is showcasing the 2013 S3 Sportback at the Geneva Motor Show.

It has the similar turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI engine with the three-door version, generating 300 HP (221 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque. With the ordinary six-speed manual gearbox it will cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 5.5 seconds while with the optional six-speed S Tronic it requires only 5 seconds. It has a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

The vehicle weighs around 1,445 kg which makes it 70 kg lighter than the previous model. Due to all this figures, the manual version returns 33.6 mpg (40.3 mpg UK or 7 liters / 100 km), while the automatic model gives back 34.09 mpg (40.8 mpg UK or 6.9 liters / 100 km).

Power goes to the 18-inch wheels via Audi’s quattro permanent all wheel drive system. Compared to the normal model, the S3 Sportback is lower and comes with black front calipers.
