After the leak of the pictures Audi has formally revealed the 2014 RS Q3.
With its debut at the Geneva Motor Show imminent, the first RS Q variant has an hostile appearance with new bumpers, changed side skirts and honeycomb grille inserts. There’s also matte aluminum trim, a rear diffuser, a roof-mounted spoiler and an elliptical tailpipe. Other amenities include a 25mm reduced height, high-performance brakes with painted black eight-piston calipers and 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels.
There is also leather/Alcantara sport seats, a falt steering wheel and alloy pedals. Other specialities include an RS-specific MMI infotainment system and piano black, aluminum race or carbon fiber trim. One can also order GPS navigation, a WLAN hotspot as well as a 14-speaker audio system.
Power will get boost from a turbocharged 2.5-litre 5-cylinder petrol engine that gives 310 HP (228 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. It is attached to a seven-speed S tronic and a quattro all-wheel drive system. This allows the vehicle to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, at a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
The Audi RS Q3 will be put on block this spring and has a price tag of €54,600.
