Chevrolet has recently announced the pricing for 2014 Camaro Z/28 and it will start from USD 75,000 (including a USD 995 destination charge) in the United States.

Designed to be the ultimate track car, the model can be distinguished by an aerodynamic body kit, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and 19-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires. Talking about the interiors, there’s a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Octane matte trim and leather Recaro sport seats with microfiber inserts.

Other highlights of the Z/28 include a limited-slip differential, Brembo Carbon Ceramic Matrix brake rotors and a Performance Traction Management system that allows drivers to adjust the level of throttle and braking intervention. There’s also a sport-tuned suspension with stiffer springs, up rated bushings and four-way adjustable spool-valve dampers.

The engineers have removed sound deadening material, the tire inflation kit and the air conditioning system in order to reduce the weight of the model which can be still added as an option. They have also used a smaller battery, a lighter rear seat and a thinner rear window.

Under the hood, power is provided by a 7.0-liter V8 engine outputting 505 hp (376 kW) and 481 lb-ft (652 Nm) of torque. It is further mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
