Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 in New York Motor Show

by SpeedLux

Chevy has unveiled the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 in addition to launch of facelifted 2014 Chevrolet Camaro and GTspirit in the ongoing New York Motor Show 2013.

The car comes with features such as aggressive aerodynamic kit which incorporates a new front splitter, larger flared wheel arches and larger rocker panels; small rear lip spoiler and rear diffuser.

The company has made efforts to make the car lighter than the base model. Therefore, the rear window has been thinned to 3.2mm from 3.5mm, and removed the HID headlights and fog lights. These changes have helped the car to become lighter by a significant 300 pounds than the ZL1 model and 100 pounds less than the Camaro SS variant.

The car comes with 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine which is the same as previous-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with the output generation capacity of 500 hp and 470 lb.-ft of torque.
