The 2014 Kia Forte Koup has been the victim of espionage since it has been caught on camera secretly undergoing testing in snowy weather.
Caught heavily disguised the model appears to have an imaginary design which resembles the previous model. The disguise conceals lot of details but the model is likely to get overwhelmed by the Forte sedan that debuted at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. As a result, we can expect a prominent grille, LED-infused headlights as well as wraparound taillights.
The inside part of the car couldn’t be snapped, but the model is expected to have a driver-focused cockpit with a canted center stack and an upgraded infotainment system.
Engine details are still unknown, but the options are a 1.8-liter four-cylinder with 148 hp (110 kW) and 131 lb-ft (177 Nm) of torque and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 173 hp (129 kW) and 154 lb-ft (208 Nm) of torque.
The Forte Koup is likely to be revealed in mid 2013 and sales will commence soon after.
