2014 Kia Niro concept revealed ahead of IAA arrival

by SpeedLux

Kia has officially released the first images of the Niro compact crossover concept which will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show to be held in the coming month.

Kia’s latest concept hints at an upcoming B-segment contender that is ready to take on the urban environment with style and tenacity. The concept will serve as a preview for a Nissan Juke competitor which is probably expected to come out in a couple of years.

The concept styling was penned at the company’s design studio located in Frankfurt under the direction of Kia Europe chief designer Gregory Guillaume. The designing has been done specifically for the European market and will also feature a new powertrain. Since the car comes with a dual exhaust along with several green accents on the front grille, mirrors, brake calipers and other areas, it can be clearly said that the concept will have a hybrid setup.

The details about the Kia Niro Concept are limited as of now but we can surely expect more details to be out in coming days as the launch of the car happens at IAA in September.
