The 2014 Nissan Almera has been spied yet again by some of the spy photographers recently.
Set to compete with the Volkswagen Golf, the prototype in the image is heavily camouflaged but will supposedly draw inspiration from the Invitation concept that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last year in 2012. The details are hard to find but Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer has previously said that the car will have an edgy front fascia that incorporates a V-shaped grille and is a little bit leftfield.
However the images of the interiors could not be taken but the company has said earlier that the model will have a perceived quality that would match with the Golf. Some of the previous reports have also indicated that it could have a full-length panoramic sunroof, a self-parking system and an affordable navigation system.
No details are available about the engine but again there are speculations that suggest there could be a variety of 1.2- and 1.5-liter units that could be sourced from Renault and Nissan. The model will reportedly be introduced sometime in 2014 and so we can expect to get more details in the coming months.
