by SpeedLux

The raw and mean, Nissan GT-R is here. Last week at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the new Nissan GT-R was revealed, leaving all the GT-R fans go ga-ga over the new model!

The new Nissan GT-R features a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 engine under its hood, all thanks to the improved intake efficiency, reduced airflow resistance, improved exhaust emissions efficiency, output is increased by 15-hp to 545 hp (along with a 15 lb-ft increase in torque to 463 lb-ft). And as for the fuel efficiency, it is rated at 16/23 mpg (city/highway).

“The performance enhancements for 2014 signal Nissan’s intent to keep the GT-R on the leading edge of international sports car design, technology and performance year after year after year,” said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc.

There are 2 new models, which are available:

1. GT-R Premium the Nissan Navigation System, custom-designed 11-speaker Bose audio system, premium near-black finish wheels and heated front seats.

2. The GT-R Black Edition gets special lightweight metallic black aluminum-alloy forged RAYS wheels, unique red and black interior, Recaro leather-appointed seats, dark headliner and dry carbon fiber rear spoiler.

And as on option, with your purchase, you can opt for a Cold Weather Package, which includes Dunlop all-season tires and unique coolant/water ratio, and the Premium Interior Package, which is the most tangible of upgrades, because it consists of new Red Amber semi-aniline leather adorning the seats, instrument panel, steering wheel, door trim, armrests, and shift knob.
