2014 Porsche 911 Targa leaked through patent photos ?

by SpeedLux

We have recently come across some pictures of Porsche 911 Targa and these could very well be patent photos of this new model that is set to come out next year.

Well we have to say that it looks pretty much like you would imagine after seeing various spy images that we have seen in the last couple of years showing the 991 Targa is going to adopt a retro look. The vehicle will have a removable section and will come fitted with a bulky B-pillar along with a fixed glass rear window that has a wraparound configuration, as seen on the classic models.

As per the sources, the model will be launched in 2014 with two engine choices: a flat-six 3.4-liter mill with output of 350 HP (257 kW) and 288 lb-ft (390 Nm) of torque along with a more powerful 3.6-liter one rated at 400 HP (294 kW) and 324 lb-ft (440 Nm) in the 911 Targa S variant.

Nothing is officially confirmed but we can expect Porsche to showcase the new 911 Targa in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.
