Toyota has unmasked the 2014 Tundra at the Chicago Auto Show.
The model has an extra ordinary appearance which clearly resonates its predecessor.The truck has been equipped with a chrome grille, squared-off fenders and a new rear light with an integrated spoiler. There are also 3-piece bumpers and re-innovated 18- and 20-inch alloy wheels.
In order to attract various clients, Toyota will offer five different versions in order to build a strong portfolio. The latter model will combat the Ford F-150 King Ranch and features saddle brown leather seats, GPS navigation and a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
On the interior side, the cabin has a new instrument panel, improved seats and resourced controls. Other amenities include metallic accents, a 3.5-inch multi-information view and also an optional 12-speaker JBL audio system.
As far as engines are concerned three different engines are available which includes A 4.0-liter V6 that develops 270 bhp (201 kW) and 278 lb-ft (376 Nm) of torque A 4.6-liter V8 that develops 310 bhp (231 kW) and 327 lb-ft (443 Nm) of torque and A 5.7-liter V8 that develops 381 bhp (284 kW) and 401 lb-ft (543 Nm) of torque
Irrespective of whichever engine is fitted, The truck would be equipped with a five-speed or six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2014 Tundra will be available at the showrooms from September 2013 and prices would be announced when the actual launch takes place.
