2014 Zenos E10 to debut at Autosport International with 200 bhp

by SpeedLux

Former Caterham CEO Ansar Ali has recently announced that he will unveil his new Zenos E10 at the upcoming Autosport International.

Details about the model are limited as of now but the lightweight sports car will feature a tubular chassis and a carbon composite monocoque and it will enable the model to tip the scales at just 650 kg (1,433 lbs). Under the hood, power will be provided by a mid-mounted, 2.0-liter Ford engine rated at 200 hp (149 kW) which will enable the sports car to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-100 kmph) in under five seconds.

Ali said that the launch of the E10 at Autosport International will mark another major milestone in what’s been an exciting 18 months since they had begun work on Zenos Cars. He further said that based on their experience, they know the sector and what drivers want, and with the Zenos E10 they have worked hard to develop a fun, engaging and affordable lightweight sports car.

The E10 will enter the production phase late 2014 and the first deliveries are scheduled to occur in early 2015. Pricing details are yet to be revealed and we can expect to learn more when the car is introduced next month.
